Cynthia Atkinson – Cynthia is a founding director
and Treasurer since Solid Ground’s inception in 1991.
Cynthia has worked at Mennonite Economic Development Associates
as Manager of Corporate Administration for over 10 years and
enjoys being a part of two very diverse Christian charities.
She brings the gift of administration and leadership to her
role as Treasurer of the ministry and is passionate about
Bible study. She is delighted when a new student to SGM gets
“hooked” on studying the Word. Her favourite Bible
verse is found in Jude 4 “..contend earnestly for the
faith”. |

Lisa George – Lisa began studying at Solid Ground
in 1996, shortly after her first child was born. She immediately
became hooked on in-depth Bible study and the wonderful teaching
that Solid Ground provides. She joined the Board in 2002,
and is passionate about seeing others learn to dig deeply
into God's Word. Lisa is the stay-at-home mom of two beautiful
daughters, and attends Lincoln Road Chapel with her husband
Bill. |

Martin Grinwis – Martin joined Solid Ground Bible Study Ministries as a student in 2007. He is married to Anne, who is a long time student, and together they enjoy studying God's Word inductively. Martin has been serving as a board member of Solid Ground Bible Study Ministries since 2009.
Martin and Anne attend Milton Gospel Hall in Milton.
Romans 10:17 says, "so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God."
Anyone who studies the word of God is promised a blessing! |

Jessie Horowitz – Jessie's personal relationship with the Lord started in October of 1992. She discovered Solid Ground in the summer of 1998 where the inductive method of Bible study was being taught, fueling her passion for studying God's written Word. The varied Bible studies offered by Solid Ground have not only encouraged her, they have also helped strengthen her walk with the Lord. Jessie joined the SGM Board in the summer of 2006. |

Annette Schiedel – Annette is married to Phil and together have four children, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and a brand new grand daughter! They attend Community Christian Reformed Church. Annette has been studying with Solid Ground for approximately sixteen years and says she has grown so much in her faith because of studying the Word of God in depth. She has served on the board of Solid Ground for five years and is excited about what God is doing! "It is amazing to be able to see God at work in the ministry and in the students. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for the future!" |

John Warkentin – John is married
to his best friend Adelheid, father of two
wonderful children and blessed with a kind son-in-law and
grandfather to two granddaughters and a grandson. He attends Kitchener
Mennonite Brethren Church, serving on the leadership board
and he and his wife serve as deacons. John
is a founding director and actively involved on the Board
since 1991. John has the spiritual gift of
administration and helps. |

Christine Wideman – Christine and her husband Jim are long-time residents of the K-W area. Christine is a retired health worker and is thrilled to finally have the time to devote to the study God’s Word. (Even though their 6 children and 7 grandchildren keep them both busy!)
Christine has been a Solid Ground student for 5 years and joined the
board 1 year ago. “In these times of shifting sand, this community is
very privileged to have a place to go for in-depth study of the Word of God, a place of solid ground." |

Monica White – Monica is married to Phil and is a blessed mom of two adult children and a son-in-law. As a long time student at Solid Ground, studying the truth of God’s Word has brought many benefits: greater love for our Saviour, deeper faith, and an increased understanding of the times we live in. “We are so blessed to have access to solid teaching of the Word and also practical methods to study God’s Word for ourselves.” Monica joined the board in the summer of 2010. |
